Premium Efficiency Motor Initiatives Motor buyers in many states are eligible for rebates on the purchase of Premium Efficiency Motors from SM Service & Technology. The rebate incentive is available to industrial, commercial, institutional, and agricultural electric service customers. The motors must be new, three phase induction motors, NEMA design B, 1 to200 HP, ODP or TEFC, 1200, 1800, or 3600 RPM. They can be purchased for instalation or as spares. The rebate amount varies from $45 to $700, requires minimum nominal efficiencies and is based on HP, speed, and enclosure. Most premium efficiency motors qualify. Contact your Electric Utility
